I was part of the team that launched a new column at Businessweek Magazine called 'Curiosity Gap', a column that focuses on one issue or question that we explore through data. Click on the headlines for links to the story, and the images to enlarge.

This column focuses on the increase in 'plumbing poverty'— a lack of access to running water— which has been rising in many major metropolitan areas since 2017, as costlier housing, stagnant wages and fewer affordable options are pushing more residents into conditions where running water is a luxury.
